Prayers from Dhaval Buch’s Yoga Class

The following [prayers] are chanted during Dhavals weekly Yoga Class in Bakersfield, California.

 1. May the almighty god and savior protect us as well as the knowledge gained by us, together. May the knowledge and the experience gained by us through studies protect us together. May god enable us to enjoy the studies together and may the knowledge gained by us through studies endow us together with the ability to enjoy life as well as the world thoroughly by putting the knowledge and experience gained into practice. May we both acquire together physical, mental, and spiritual prowess, power, and energy. May the knowledge earned by us through these studies bring us luster, splendor, and dignity, and be impressive. May we never dislike studies, nor we hate anybody in the world. May we, with the help of our studies, derive peace from the world, our bodies, and spirits.

2. May everybody be happy here in this world. May everybody be free from all physical. Mental, and spiritual diseases. May everybody see good things and times. May no one face any sufferings and miseries.

3. O god, help me so that I do away with this unreality, untruth, non-existence and uneternity and achieve reality, truth, existence, and eternity. Please make me discard ignorance and darkness and attain to the light and knowledge. Lead and guide me to be free from bondage, suffering, and death, and to attain Immortality.

4. May there be good in everybody. May everybody have peace. May everybody’s desires be fulfilled.  May everybody have happiness, prosperity, and good luck.

5. May we always have the company of the soul, nurtured, and protected by the power of god, the power of awareness, and the power of the divine intellect. The soul, possessing these three, increases Physical, Mental, and Spiritual power and nourishes those who keep his company. The person who does so, develops like a sweet water melon. The water melon, when fully ripe within, is liberated from the vine and lies on mother earth, has an attractive great sweet smell, is a very nourishing fruit, and in that condition, the seeds inside the fruit are loosened and become free from the flesh of the fruit. Similarly, a person who develops like the water melon, is free from the vine of the world,  is aware of the power of god, and develops a sweet spiritual smell within himself. All the powers of the divine intellect within are loosened and freed from evil.. May I become such a wonderful person and liberate myself from the worldly bondage, but never from the bondage of my Immortal Supreme Being – God.
