My Deepest Fear

My deepest fear is not that I am inadequate. My deepest fear is I am powerful beyond measure. It is my light, not my darkness that frightens me. I ask, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who am I not to be? I am a child of God. By playing small, I do not serve the world, I do not serve myself, I do not serve god. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so small other people won’t feel insecure. I am meant to shine, as children do. I was born to make manifest the glory of God within. As I let my light shine, I unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As I am liberated from fear, my presence automatically liberates others. The light is not just in me; it’s in everyone. Know the light of god is in everything.
