July 15 – Guts and Courage

2009

Gallantry3

I do not judge the faults of others – of what they have done or not done. I think rather of my own faults, of the things I have done or not done.

I am considerate of others and myself by living a life of broad observation, discernment, and service.

I am living in error when my awareness is based solely on my own narrow thinking or the narrow observations of others.

Discernment displaces Judgement. When I find myself in error, judging, I change my thinking to being discernful, where truth and action develops. When others are judging me, I am discernful and seek the truth wherever I may, or may not, find it.

I choose to have guts, to be courageous.

I choose not to be timid. Yes, timid thoughts arise, as do many other errors in thinking. I will not let errors in thinking take hold of my being. When errors in thinking arise, I may need to be gutsy and courageous.

I am becoming more joyfully alive by using more time to be aware of gods presence. I am becoming aware of my nature.

Encircling all, and from the heart a certain course, knowing I am a child of god. Being aware of god is joyful.
