October 11 – Each Day, Birth and Death

Physical birth and death is a more dramatic manifestation of the births and deaths going on continually thoughout the day.

We are perpetually facing beginnings and endings in situations and circumstances without appreciating the emotional toll these small births and deaths have on our lives. It can be as subtle as forgetting a thought or as common as falling asleep. Change is death itself.

Overcome, forever, sorrow and distress, pain and sadness, finding on the path only joy. How? by ardently being aware and mindful you and god are one.

Only the man with awareness, not marching through life in a dream state while awake, not cowardly, is able enough to be one with God, giving up a life based on a self notion of desire and aversion.

Knowing the Self and God are one, we proceed forever living in joy and fearful of nothing.

For in awareness, fully aware, we know self and god to be the same,
One without two, the Lord of all creation.
