November 4 – Plainly a Choice

Being aware, seeing myself plainly, I direct change (and we do change, directed or not). The greater I direct change, so greater the feeling of relief, like carrying a heavy load and at once dropping it.

Where there is great hatred, are the fetters of hell.
Where there is great avarice, are the fetters of tortured spirits.
Where there is great ignorance, are the fetters of beasts.
Where there is great lust, are the fetters of man.
Where there is great envy, are the fetters of malevolence.
Where there is great pride, are the fetters of the gods.
To stop fettering, is to be liberated, to know joy.

I immediately choose to not be fettered.
